Former Resident of City Passes Away in St. Paul.
A. A. Heffron, employed for a number of years in the barber business in this city died on Wednesday in St. Paul of cancer, supposed to have been caused by injuries received in a street car accident will arrive here on Saturday morning and the funeral will be held Saturday afternoon from the Norman Undertaking parlors.
The deceased, who was 54 years of age, left Grand Forks a number of years ago and worked as a barber in both Mayville and Northwood.
Last year he was injured in a street car incident in St. Paul, receiving broken ribs and other injuries. Since that time he had been in ill health and death called on Wednesday. Will Heffron, a brother of the deceased residing at Michigan City was in the city today making the funeral arrangements. The Heffron brothers formerly conducted a barber shop under the Union National bank.
