WELL KNOWN ROLLA BANKER ANSWERS LAST SUMMONS.
Was Taken to Home of His Mother at Newcastle, Pa., Several Weeks Ago, and Answered the Final Summons on Sunday---Had Been Resident of North Dakota Twenty Years.
Charles T. Wilbur, vice president of the First National bank of Rugby, died at the home of his mother at Newcastle, Penna., Sunday, aged 47 years. Mr. Wilbur came to North Dakota 20 years ago, first living at Jamestown. From there he went to Bathgate, where he was associated with W. N. Steele, then of this city, in the machinery business. In 1888 Mr. Steele and Mr. Wilbur went to Rolla and engaged in the banking business. Several months ago the latter was taken ill and a few weeks ago Mr. Steele accompanied him to his old home in Pennsylvania, where his mother, the only remaining member of the family, resides.
A wide circle of acquaintances in North Dakota will regret to learn of the death of Charles T. Wilbur. He was a man of the strictest integrity, and held in the highest esteem by friends and acquaintances.
