Held for a Husband's Death.

LAURENS, S. C., Dec. 29.--E. A. Hamilton, a young farmer, was found dead at his home today with his head almost completely severed. A bloody ax lay beside him. His young wife, who recently returned from an insane asylum, is being held by the authorities. She denies all knowledge of the crime. Among her hallucinations before being taken to the asylum was that she had killed her husband.
