FATAL SHOOTING IN BOSQUE.

Meridian, Bosque, Co., Tex., Dec. 28.---This afternoon Frank Fossett, white, came in and gave himself up to the sheriff and was jailed. He stated that he had killed a negro at a colored Baptist Church a mile and a half east of the city. Parties coming in from the scene said Charley Alexander, colored, was shot four times and struck on the head and lived only a few minutes. The negro had been working for Fossett off and on for four or five years. No particulars of the killing could be obtained for the reason that the attorneys for Fossett advised him not to talk . The justice has gone to hold an inquest over the body. Fossett's examining trial will be held to-morrow.
