Raymond Valdez Dies at Rotan
ROTAN, (RNS)---Raymond Valdez, 54, Rotan farmer, was found dead by his wife in a house on their farm four miles north of Rotan about 5 p.m. Tuesday.
They lived in town and he had gone to work that morning. A doctor said he apparently had died while sitting in the house waiting for his wife to come and get him.
Born Jan. 23, 1904, in San Antonio, he married Carrie Parker in Rotan in 19[ineligible]. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Funeral will be held in Weathersbee Chapel here at 3 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Rotan Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife and two brothers, Jose and Pedro, both of San Antonio.
